District Mourning the Loss of Former Students

We will be mourning for a very long time the loss of three former students who tragically passed away in the Humboldt bus accident. This tragic event is a tremendous loss for our school communities, especially for those who know the families or who knew and worked with these talented and gifted young men.

Our communities are closely connected and the loss of these boys will be deep and far-reaching. Please keep Logan Hunter, Jaxon Joseph, Stephen Wack, their families, and all those who are grieving in your thoughts and prayers.

All schools will be flying their flags at half-mast to honour these young lives and they will be supporting students, families and staff who are grieving. In messages shared with the community, staff and families throughout the weekend, superintendent Keohane commented "May the comfort and healing of God’s presence help you through this difficult time."
