2017/2018 Bus Pass Application Form

Applications Deadline - July 1, 2017

In order for your child to have his/her bus pass for the first day of school (Tuesday, September 5, 2017), bus pass applications and payment arrangements must be received by Tuesday, August 1, 2017.  Any applications received after the application deadline may not be processed in time for the first day of school. If your child does not have a valid bus pass for the 2017-2018 school year, he/she will not be able to ride the bus.

How long will it take to get a bus pass if I don't apply by the deadline?

Due to the large volume of passes to be issued at the end of August, applications and payment arrangements received after August 1, 2017 will be issued the week of September 11, 2017 or as soon as possible. 

I have a bus pass from last year. Is it still valid?

Each year you are required to apply for busing and we will update your card so that it is valid for the current year. If you have not applied for busing and made payment arrangements by August 1, 2017 your child will not be allowed to ride the bus.

Who is qualified to ride the bus?

Students must live outside the school’s walk boundary to qualify for a bus pass.

Does my bus pass allow me to be transported to different locations?

Bus passes are issued to students traveling between home and school and between school and ONE sitter/daycare only. 

Can I board the bus without a pass?

Passes must always be presented to the driver in order to board the school bus. In addition, scanning your pass as you get on and off the bus allows us to know who is riding the bus at all times.

If I require specialized transport for my child what should I do?

How do I make changes, once I have applied for transportation?

All transportation changes must be processed by emailing the transportation department.

How do I cancel my bus service?

Please send an email to the transportation department and return the bus pass to your child's school or the District office.

Our Synervoice automated notification system will be used to announce bus cancellations and other delays applicable to riders. Parents/guardians are asked to provide ONE (1) telephone number in the space provided. This telephone number will be considered a primary contact point for phone and text notification between 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. and other times throughout the day/evening when necessary
