Pre-kindergarten eligibility

Children who are eligible for Program Unit Funding (PUF) may attend Pre-kindergarten for 2 years prior to Kindergarten.

Children with an identified severe delay/disorder (in specified areas of development) may be eligible for PUF. Formal assessing and reporting are required to support PUF eligibility.

All other Pre-kindergarten children attend for 1 year, prior to entering Kindergarten.

Pre-kindergarten registration

The first step in registering your child for Pre-kindergarten is to book a Pre-kindergarten Developmental Screen by calling the number below.

All children participate in a developmental 'screen' to help us learn about each child's strengths and abilities. Your child will be involved in play activities with one of our Pre-Kindergarten therapists to determine program eligibility.
