In Alberta, Catholic Schools are publicly funded to provide families with many educational choices for their child. We welcome families from all backgrounds and encourage you to explore our website to learn more about our Catholic schools and opportunities for your children.

We are one of the largest Catholic divisions in the province and are consistently a top-performing school system as measured by academic achievement, scholarship eligibility, and satisfaction levels from our parents, students and staff. Three out of four students are scholarship eligible by the time they reach graduation.

The Division has a rich heritage and tradition of excellence for more than 150 years in providing Catholic Education in the region. Our Founding members, the Grey Nuns pioneered faith-based education in the province. Their philosophy of practical, moral, and religious learning continues to be emphasized in our schools. Our Catholic schools recognize each child as a gift from God, and foundational to Catholic education is the development of the student as a whole person, intellectually and spiritually.

Our schools offer a range of programming options including pre-kindergarten, full and half-day kindergarten, academic programs, sports academy programming, university credit courses and flexible high school programming. In addition, the Division operates one of the largest French Immersion programs in the province.

To view the full range of programs and schools please view our Schools brochure. If you have already made a decision on programming and a school for your child to attend please visit our registration page to enrol today.

Thank you for considering our division and giving your child the gift of a Catholic education!
