Academic Programming

Pre-AP and Advanced Placement - Grades 7 to 12

Pre-AP is an advanced level program for junior high level students. It provides an added level of rigor and is an internationally recognized program. Advanced Placement is programming that takes place at the high school level and prepares students for college and university studies. It is also recognized by post-secondary institutions as part of the application process.

Both programs, Pre-AP and Advanced Placement are being offered at École Sainte Marguerite d'Youville beginning with high school courses this semester. An information evening was held recently to share information on these programs and course options that will be available to interested students.

In addition, when Sister Alphonse Academy in the community of Jensen Lakes, St. Albert opens its doors in September 2018 it will be offering Pre-AP programming for students in grades 7 to 9 and Advanced Academics for grades 4 to 6. Watch for more information on this programming in the Fall of 2017.
