Safe and Caring Policy and Procedures

The Division has board policy and administrative procedures in place to support and ensure that we have welcoming, caring, respectful, and safe environments.

Given recent legislative changes, including changes to the Alberta Human Rights Act, Bill 24: An Act to Support Gay-Straight Alliances, Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Act, and the Alberta Whistleblower Protection Act, our District has revised and worked with our schools to ensure that they have up-to-date school codes of conduct and that such codes of conduct are reviewed annually.
