Registration
Age eligibility: To attend Kindergarten in the 2025-2026 school year, your child must be a minimum age of 4 years 8 months and less than 6 years of age on September 1, 2025 (Date of birth is between September 2, 2019-December 31, 2020).
Current GSACRD students including Pre-Kindergarten: please do not fill out a New Student Registration as a notification email will be sent shortly to register for the next school year. Once you receive the email, you can log into your PowerSchool Parent Portal Account and complete a returning student registration online form.
Register for the current 2024/2025 school year
Please note: Registration is not complete until the Registration Form has been completed, reviewed and approved by the School Principal and all supporting documentation has been received by the school. Some examples of supporting documents are Birth Certificate, Parental Court Order, Fee Commitment forms for kindergarten or academy programs.

We recognize that you appreciate choice in the type of programs that best suit your family.
We offer both English and French Immersion programs.
There are a variety of programming choices:
- Regular (half-day) - each school has a morning option, and depending on enrolment, afternoon classes may be offered.
- Full-day - children attend Kindergarten in both the morning and the afternoon. This is a program of choice, and fees apply. Some schools offer this programming; it is dependent upon sufficient enrolment.
- Progressive - children attend half-days until spring break, after which they transition to full-days. This is a program of choice, and fees apply. Some schools offer this programming; it is dependent upon sufficient enrolment.

Documentation
New Student Documentation
For pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students, and for students new to Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools (including homeschooling and cyber school), legal proof of the student's name, residency and guardianship will be required when you register. Please provide the school with photocopies of required documents, which will be placed in your child's Alberta Education Official Student Record.

First Nations, Métis, Inuit Parent Information - If your child(ren) are of First Nations, Métis or Inuit descent please find out why it is beneficial to self-identify your child(ren) when enrolling them at your school of choice.

Medical Forms
If your child/student has a medical condition that the school staff should be made aware of you may need to fill out a medical form such as Anaphylaxis Emergency Plan, Diabetes Care Plan or Medical Information Form. Please talk to your school and decide if this is necessary for your child/student. Medical forms can be found in our resource library.
