Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools Expands Sports Academy Hockey Program to Morinville Community High School
Morinville, AB – [February 18, 2025] – Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools is excited to announce the expansion of its highly successful Sports Academy Hockey Program to Morinville Community High School (MCHS) beginning in the 2025-26 school year.
This expansion allows MCHS students to develop their hockey skills as part of their academic schedule. During the first semester, on-ice training will take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the afternoons, offering student-athletes a structured and supportive environment to enhance their skills while maintaining a strong focus on their studies.
The Sports Academy Hockey Program has been a cornerstone of athletic development within Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools, providing students with professional instruction, skill-building opportunities, and leadership development through sport.
How to Register:
Registration for the program is now open through the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Families new to the division and interested in enrolling their child in the Sports Academy Hockey Program are encouraged to contact The Sports Academy office for more details on how to get started.
