Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools is proud to release its Journey in Education for Reconciliation book.
The book was created in partnership with our First Nations, Métis, and Inuit Advisory and Leadership Committees, and with consultation and direction from our elders, Edna Arcand and Ella Arcand, who provide us with advice, guidance, and teachings.
In this picture book, we have sought to capture in words, pictures, and student art, the lessons learned from Edna and Ella.
This is the first issue of what we hope will be an ongoing journey, strengthening relationships, partnerships, and actions that bring us to new understandings of what it means to enact Truth and Reconciliation within our Division.
